New Delhi: Suvendu Adhikari, the BJP chief and Leader of Opposition in West Bengal, has alleged that the state police have taken Shajahan Sheikh, the TMC strongman of Sandeshkhali who’s on the run, into “safe custody” since final evening. Adhikari’s allegation comes simply two days after TMC spokesperson Kunal Ghosh’s assertion that Shajahan can be nabbed inside per week.
