Red Bull Investigating F1 Team’s Christian Horner Over Alleged Misconduct Toward Team Employee – News18

Energy drink maker Red Bull stated Monday it’s investigating Christian Horner, the crew principal of its championship Formula One crew, over an allegation of misconduct towards a crew worker.

“After being made aware of certain recent allegations, the company launched an independent investigation,” the corporate stated in an announcement. “This process, which is already underway, is being carried out by an external specialist barrister. The company takes these matters extremely seriously and the investigation will be completed as soon as practically possible. It would not be appropriate to comment further at this time.”

Dutch publication De Telegraaf first reported the investigation. Horner has denied any wrongdoing, and the grievance is allegedly about his aggressive administration type.

Horner has guided Red Bull and driver Max Verstappen to 3 consecutive championships for each the crew and driver. Horner is permitted to proceed working forward of subsequent month’s season-opening race in the course of the investigation.

The 50-12 months-previous Horner has been Red Bull crew principal because it entered F1 as a full constructor in 2005. He has guided the crew to 6 constructors’ championships and 7 drivers’ championships throughout his time on the prime.

Horner is married since 2015 to Geri Halliwell, higher generally known as Ginger Spice of the feminine pop group The Spice Girls.
