Bharatiya Janata Party senior leader Gudur Narayana Reddy demanded the State authorities to shift the Regional Ring Road 22 kms away, past East and North aspect of Yadagirigutta, from the present place to guard the livelihoods of a whole bunch of micro and small farmers.
Farmers of those villages are on agitation path for the previous few months opposing acquisition of lands for RRR, he mentioned after interacting with them in Raigiri, Erramballi, Proddutur, Mandapur and Varkatpalli villages. The current alignment of RRR would trigger dislocation of farmers on a big scale and would make their lives depressing as they’d already ceded their lands for development of canals for Baswapur Reservoir, excessive rigidity strains, and bypass highway for NH 163.
Mr. Reddy mentioned that the majority farmers dwelling on this space personal half or one acre of land and it’s their solely supply of livelihood. The compensation being provided is a pittance, he mentioned. “The financial compensation would not help farmers even to buy 100 square yards,” he lamented. The BJP leader recommended constructing the RRR within the route of Choutuppal, Motakondur and Alair, 42 kms away from Hyderabad Outer Ring Road.
