Sivaganga police on Monday seized Rs 1,000 notes with a face worth of Rs 4.8 crore from a physiotherapist close to Kalayarkovil.
According to studies, the 41-year-old physiotherapist A Arul Chinnapparaj, upon being interrogated, informed the police officers that he had bought the demonetized notes from S Varalakshmi who was operating an outdated age dwelling at Chengalpattu.

The cops later detained Varalakshmi who informed police that she had saved this cash from donations from individuals and NGOs to assemble a constructing.
