Kolkata, Mar 23: Andre Russel’s all-spherical effort headlined Kolkata Knight Riders’ sweaty 4-run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad of their IPL match right here on Saturday.

Russell’s brutal unbeaten 64 off 25 balls with three fours and 7 sixes and Phil Salt’s extra pragmatic 54 off 40 balls guided KKR to 208 for seven.

Left-arm pacer T Natarajan was their most profitable bowler with a 3-wicket haul (3/32). At a number of factors, SRH threatened to chase 208 down, notably when Heinrich Klaasen (63, 29b, 8x6s) went berserk within the backend of the innings.

But the Hyderabad facet fell agonisingly near the goal.
