Salaar: KGF Star Yash To Make Special Appearance In Prabhas Starrer? Makers FINALLY Reveal

The rumours of Yash’s particular look in Salaar first made headlines after youngster singer Theertha Subhash unintentionally referred to KGF actor’s presence within the Prashanth Neel directorial.

Reports of KGF star Yash making a particular look in Prabhas’ upcoming film Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire have been making headlines for a very long time now. However, the makers of the much-awaited movie have now lastly revealed that every one such claims are false.

Yash Does Not Have a Cameo In Salaar

In a latest interview, producer Vijay Kiragandur revealed that Yash doesn’t have a cameo in Salaar and clarified that there isn’t a hyperlink between his film and the KGF. “I think [director] Prashanth has clarified already that there is no link [between KGF and Salaar]. There’s no cameo in the movie. So that is not true,” Vijay instructed India Today.

How Did The Rumours of Yash’s Special Appearance In Salaar Surface? 

The rumours of Yash’s particular look in Salaar first made headlines after youngster singer Theertha Subhash unintentionally referred to the KGF actor’s presence within the Prashanth Neel directorial. However, she later clarified, “I have seen the ‘KGF’ movie many times. When the opportunity arose, my father had said that ‘Salaar’s’ music and it was with the ‘KGF’ team. So, I had in my mind that Yash uncle will also be in ‘Salaar’. It was in that assumption, that I said his name (sic).”

What Do We Know About Salaar? 

Hombale Films’ Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire stars Prabhas together with Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. Made underneath the path of Prashanth Neel, the movie is produced by Vijay Kiragandur. Salaar has a period of two hours and 55 minutes and was given an ‘A’ certificates by the censor board. The film has a number of bloody fight scenes, violence, and battle scenes.

Recently, director Prashanth Neel additionally revealed that his movie is an emotional story of two associates. “Salaar Part One is a completely different world; the action in the film is massive and there are strong characters, but above all, it has an emotional story—the story of two friends and their journey into the world of the Khansaar. I wanted to make an action-packed drama film with a story driven by emotions and friendship, and Salaar has given me that opportunity,” he stated in a latest interview.

Salaar shall be launched in theatres on December 22, 2023.
