Pakistani born American actress and Salman Khan’s ex-girlfriend Somy Ali has made some surprising revelations about being raped and molested as a toddler.
The actress who has featured in lots of Bollywood motion pictures within the 90s has now become a social activist and is now working with an NGO ‘No More Tears’ the place she rescues rape victims.
However just lately throughout an interview, the place she opened up about her traumatizing expertise as a toddler, Somy informed that she was molested on the age of 5, 9 and raped on the age of 14 years.
While speaking to Peeping moon, Somy stated: “The first time I was sexually abused in Pakistan, I was 5 years old. There were 3 incidents in the servant’s quarters. I told my mum and dad, actions were taken. But what my parents told me is that, “Beta yeh kisiko batana nahi.” In my head, I lived with that for years. I thought, “Did I do one thing incorrect? Why was I informed by my dad and mom?” Pakistan and Indian cultures are very image-based. They were protecting me but I didn’t understand it. Again there was an incident at 9, then again at 14″.
She additional added, “Three years ago, I started speaking out. Even though I was running this non-profit organisation for 14 years, I found myself hypocritic for not being able to speak up.”
