SBI Bank Manager Set Ablaze By Security Guard In Uttarakhand | India News


A safety guard allegedly set ablaze the supervisor of a nationalised financial institution at Dharchula in Uttarakhand’s Pithoragarh district, police mentioned on Saturday. The accused, recognized as Deepak Kshetri, has been arrested, Superintendent of Police (Pithoragarh) Lokeshwar Singh mentioned. Muhammad Owais, the supervisor of a State Bank of India department, suffered 36 per cent burns and has been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Rishikesh, after first help at a close-by hospital, he mentioned.

The pair had fought earlier as properly, the police mentioned. On Saturday, when Kshetri didn’t flip up for obligation, Owais marked him absent. Following this motion, Kshetri allegedly poured petrol on the financial institution supervisor and set him on fireplace, they added. Kshetri, a resident of Dehradun, retired from the Jammu and Kashmir Rifles and was working as a safety guard on the financial institution for the previous two years.
