New Delhi: State Bank of India (SBI) has introduced revision in service charges for its Basic Savings Bank Deposit (BSBD) Account holders.
The Additional Value Added Services will come into impact from July 1, 2021, SBI stated.
These SBI charges pertain to cash withdrawal at branches and at ATMs, charges associated to Cheque Book, switch and different non-financial transactions.
For cash withdrawal, at branches charges will likely be recovered past 4 free cash withdrawal transactions (together with at Branch & ATM) and at ATMs charges will likely be recovered past 4 free cash withdrawal transaction (together with at ATM &Branch).
BSBD account holders must comply with these charges for cash withdrawal:
Rs 15 plus GST per cash withdrawal transaction at Branch Channel/ATM.
i. SBI ATMs: Rs 15 +GST
ii. Other Bank’s ATMs: Rs 15 + GST
The following charges will likely be levied for Cheque Book
i. First 10 cheque leaves FREE in a monetary yr.
ii. Thereafter:
a. 10 leaf cheque Book at Rs. 40/- +
GST
b. 25 leaf cheque Book at Rs. 75/- +
GST
c. Emergency Cheque Book:
Rs. 50/- + GST for 10 leaves or half thereof.
However, Senior Citizen clients are exempted.
The Non-Financial Transactions at Branch Channel/ATM/CDM/ will likely be free for BSBD account holders in each SBI and different banks. Transfer Transactions of BSBD account holders will likely be free for department and alternate channels.
