A Supreme Court Bench of Justices DY Chandrachud, L Nageswara Rao and Ravindra Bhat on Tuesday heard the Suo Motu case registered to look at COVID-19 points resembling the provision of important medication, method of vaccination, and lockdown.

Mehta instructed the apex courtroom that “Matter is being treated at the highest executive level and the state machinery. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is dealing with the issue. We are handling the situation very carefully.” 

Post listening to the arguments and on the idea of paperwork offered the Supreme Court in its order, requested the Government of India to clarify the idea and rationale adopted with respect to the pricing of anti-COVID vaccines and  different crucial objects.
