Scolded for playing games on cell, Noida teen jumps to death

A 15-year-old boy allegedly jumped to death from an under-construction constructing in Noida after he was scolded by his dad and mom, who had requested him not to play games on cell phone, police stated on Thursday. The Class 7 scholar had gone lacking from his house in Sector 110 the underneath Phase 2 police station limits final night time after his dad and mom scolded him, officers stated.

“The boy was peeved over the scolding for playing mobile games and left home around 8 pm. This morning, his body was found from a nearby under construction building. He had allegedly jumped off the building last night,” Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) Elamaran G stated.

“The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination and the matter is being probed. Forensic experts have also collected evidence from the spot,” the officer stated.

In two different instances, two individuals allegedly dedicated suicide in Noida and Greater Noida on Wednesday, police stated.

One of them aged 22 lived within the Sector 49 police station space of Noida, whereas the opposite aged 35 lived within the Bisrakh space of Greater Noida, police added.

Both our bodies have been despatched for post-mortem and additional proceedings are being carried out, police stated.
