Poonch: The safety forces in Poonch district on Friday (March 3) claimed to have achieved a giant success by recovering an enormous consignment of narcotics, money, and pistol together with ammunition throughout a raid on a home of a infamous narcotics smuggler. The home is positioned alongside the Line of Control whereas the proprietor has already been booked beneath Public Safety Act (PSA).
In an official assertion issued by police Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) in Jammu Zone, Mukesh Singh stated that the heroine and money has been recovered from the home of a infamous drug peddler Rafi Dhana alias Rafi Lala. Rafi Dhana, a infamous narcotics smuggler, was already detained beneath PSA, the officer stated.
ADGP Jammu additional stated that on some inputs, a group of Poonch police led by Inspector Sunil together with parts of NCA and CRPF raided and searched the home of Rafi Dhana.
“During the search, seven kilograms of Heroin, around Rs 2 crores of cash (counting going on) and a Pistol with 01 Magazine, 10 rounds along with seven rounds of SLR have been recovered,” stated ADGP.
