Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, February 23, 2023, sought investments in green energy sector saying that the nation’s potential in renewable energy is no less than a “goldmine”.

Addressing a webinar on numerous bulletins made in the Union Budget 2023-24 on green progress, Mr. Modi stated, “India will play an important role in green energy, I invite all stakeholders to invest in India.” He said that the potential of renewable energy like photo voltaic, wind energy and biogas in India isn’t less than a goldmine, the Prime Minister stated.

Mr. Modi said that the federal government could be very focussed on bio-fuel and it’ll convey a lot of alternative for buyers.

The PM referred to India attaining 10 per cent ethanol mixing goal 5 months forward of schedule. He additionally talked about assembly the goal of 40 per cent non-fossil gas capability 9 yr forward of schedule.
