Senior Ferrari Formula One engineer and aerodynamics professional David Sanchez has left the group after a decade at Maranello, Italian media reported on Thursday.
Ferrari, runners-up to Red Bull in 2022, wouldn’t touch upon the experiences.
The Gazzetta dello Sport mentioned the Frenchman, who was the group’s Head of Vehicle Concept, had left after a disappointing begin to the season in Bahrain.
The sport’s oldest and most profitable group are underneath the brand new administration of French boss Fred Vasseur following the departure of former principal Mattia Binotto on the finish of the 2022 season.
Sanchez arrived on the Italian group in 2012 from McLaren, who now have former Ferrari engineer Andrea Stella as their new principal, and have become chief aerodynamicist in 2016.
The Gazzetta mentioned Sanchez would begin a interval of “gardening depart” and was expected to be replaced via an internal promotion.
