Equity market opened on a powerful word on March 6, with the benchmark crossing the 60,000 level and Nifty making sturdy features amid optimistic world cues. BSE Sensex jumped 554.06 factors or 0.91% to 60,363.03 factors, whereas the broader NSE Nifty climbed 143.35 factors or 0.81% to 17,737.70 factors.
