New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed jailed former MP and alleged gangster Atiq Ahmad’s plea searching for safety throughout his custody with Uttar Pradesh police within the Umesh Pal homicide case.
A bench of Justices Ajay Rastogi and Bela M Trivedi granted Ahmad liberty to method the Allahabad High Court for defense after he claimed his life is below risk whereas being within the custody of UP police.
