The CPI(M)’s pupil wing, SFI, on Monday intensified its ongoing battle with the Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan by placing up banners towards him in schools throughout the state.
According to visuals on TV channels, one such banner exterior the Government Sanskrit College in the state capital mentioned Khan as Chancellor must be working for the schools and never the Sangh Parivar.
The Students’ Federation of India (SFI) had on Sunday night time introduced it could be placing up a whole lot of posters and banners towards Khan in the Calicut University in Malappuram district in addition to schools throughout the state.

The allegation was made in a press launch issued by the Raj Bhavan.
Khan had additionally questioned the police deployed on the college whether or not such banners would have been allowed if the CM have been staying there.
“How come this (banner) is here? I am asking you (police) if CM was staying here, would you allow this? You want to insult me? Enough is enough. You are trying to make a mockery of law and order,” an incensed Khan shouted at police.
”If not now, in 3-4 months you’ll have to reply. This CM will not be going to stay perpetually. Don’t assume you’ll go unaccountable. Don’t be beneath that impression. You won’t go unaccountable,” the Governor had mentioned.
Later, SFI activists led by its state secretary P M Arsho arrived there and put up extra banners with certainly one of them saying — “down down chancellor.” They shouted slogans towards the Governor, allegedly referred to as him a “scoundrel”, and likewise burned his effigy.
