Amid repels in political corridors over Sharad Pawar’s ‘resignation’ bombshell, BJP questioned the survival of the Maharashtra-based social gathering and hinted that the veteran chief took the drastic step due to his ‘losing management.’. In a dramatic transfer, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) supremo Sharad Pawar on Tuesday introduced he has determined to step down as chief of the social gathering he based and helmed since 1999. If pundits are to be believed this might have a bearing on nationwide and Maharashtra politics forward of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

The announcement by Pawar at an occasion in Mumbai to launch the up to date model of his Marathi autobiography surprised leaders and employees of his social gathering, and plenty of had been seen crying and pleading with the 82-year-old wily Maratha strongman to rethink the shock choice.

The Congress on Tuesday stated NCP chief Sharad Pawar’s choice to step down because the social gathering chief is an inside matter and it might not be correct for it to intervene in it. “This is their internal matter. He (Pawar) is a very respectable political leader of the country. He has the respect of all parties. It is not proper that we interfere in the internal decision of their party,” Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera stated, replying to a reporter’s query at a press convention
