Jalgaon: Coming down closely on its former alliance associate Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Shiv Sena chief Sanjay Raut has alleged that his get together was handled as “slaves” and makes an attempt had been made to complete off the get together politically when it was in energy with the saffron get together in Maharashtra from 2014 to 2019.
“Despite the fact that Shiv Sena was in power during the past 5 years, attempts were made to eradicate Shiv Sena’s presence from every village. The Shiv Sena had a secondary status in the previous government. We were treated like slaves,” he stated whereas addressing his get together’s office-bearers in Jalgaon, Maharashtra.
“Even if Shiv Sainiks don’t get anything, we can proudly say the state’s leadership is now in the hands of the Shiv Sena. The Maha Vikas Aghadi government was formed with this sentiment,” he added.

Raut’s outburst towards the BJP got here days after Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena supremo Uddhav Thackeray held a one-to-one Prime Minister Narendra Modi within the nationwide capital.
The Shiv Sena-BJP alliance toppled in 2019 over the difficulty of chief ministership.
The Shiv Sena later shaped an alliance with the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Congress to type the Maha Vikas Aghadi authorities in Maharashtra.
