Thane: Shiv Sena staff on Thursday protested in opposition to Shiv Sena (UBT) Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut in Thane for claiming Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s son Shrikant Shinde had employed a history-sheeter to hurt him. A First Information Report was registered in opposition to Raut a day earlier in Kapurbawdi police station right here on the grievance of Shiv Sena chief and former Thane mayor Meenakshi Shinde for selling disharmony between totally different teams, defamation and different offences.
During Thursday’s protest, Shinde and different girls’s wing staff of the Shinde group introduced a masked man with a photograph of Raut on his face in an ambulance for “admission” within the psychological well being hospital right here.

Shinde stated Raut had “lost his mental balance and, therefore, we seek quick treatment for him”.
Raut had made the allegations in opposition to Shrikant Shinde, the Lok Sabha MP from Kalyan, in a letter to the Mumbai police commissioner.
