Congress chief Siddaramaiah on a marketing campaign tour with actor Shivarajkumar at Maralur in Varuna constituency on Thursday.

Film star Shivarajkumar on Thursday campaigned for Congress chief and former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in Varuna constituency amidst a big crowd who gathered to observe sandalwood stars hitting the marketing campaign in the high-profile constituency.
As Mr. Siddaramaiah, accompanied by Mr. Shivarajkumar, reached Maralur village from Rampura, a lot of supporters greeted them. A bunch of youth, standing on an earthmover, showered flowers on them amid loud slogans in reward of Mr. Siddaramaiah. The crowds waved yellow colored flags with a picture of the previous CM.
Geetha Shivarajkumar additionally joined her husband to marketing campaign for Mr. Siddaramaiah. Actress Nishvika Naidu of Guru Shishyaru fame was additionally current.
Mr. Shivarajkumar was seen waving at crowds. Women standing atop the buildings have been seen eagerly greeting the star at their village. He hummed two songs to entertain the crowds: a music from Dr. Rajkumar-starrer Mayura – Naaniruvude Ninagagi… and Mylapura Mylari from his movie Mylari, whilst his followers cheered the favored actor.
On reaching Tandavapura on the Mysore-Ooty Highway close to Nanjangud, Mr. Shivarajkumar, who addressed the gathering, appealed for electing Mr. Siddaramaiah with Varuna being his residence constituency. He made an enchantment for the previous CM’s massive victory. “You all know the party symbol and your vote should go to him (Mr. Siddaramaiah),” the actor mentioned.
During the marketing campaign, Mr. Siddaramaiah provided his cap to Mr. Shivarajkumar due to summer season warmth, however the actor mentioned he didn’t want it.
