The administration of Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) has requested its workforce to intention for a mean of 2.35 lakh tonnes of production and dispatch of coal each day in March to obtain the target of 70 million tonnes coal production for the present (2023-24) 12 months.

Of the 12 areas, Manuguru, Kothagudem, Yellandu, Bellampally space mines had already achieved their coal production targets. The CMD acknowledged that the coal production within the first 11 months of 2023-24 was 4.3% increased in contrast to the earlier 12 months and the dispatch of coal had elevated by 5% this 12 months.
