Sonal Patil overcame prime seed Sahira Singh 6-1, 3-6, 6-2 within the semifinals of Rs.100,000 AITA ladies’s tennis event on the Joygaon Academy at Jhajjar on Thursday.
In the opposite last-four clash, Kashish Bhatia was in a spot of hassle after having two match factors at 6-1, 5-1 towards Divya Bhardwaj, as she was unable to shut out the match. Kashish sealed the match 6-1, 7-5.
