Earlier at present there have been studies across the launch date of Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie Sooryavanshi and Bell Bottom. Both movies had been earlier scheduled to launch in theatres this summer time. However, owing to the second wave of the pandemic, the discharge dates have been postponed. Meanwhile, there have been studies that Sooryavanshi would get an Independence Day launch if theatres open by August. There had been additionally studies of simultaneous launch of Bell Bottom on an OTT platform.
Now, actor Akshay Kumar has launched a press release clearing the air across the launch. “I’m humbled at the excitement and eagerness of my fans regarding the release of Sooryavanshi and Bell Bottom, and want to thank them from the bottom of my heart for all their love. However, at this point, it is purely speculative to say that both films will release on Independence Day. The producers of both films are working out the release dates and will make announcements at the right time,” he wrote.
Directed by Rohit Shetty, Sooryavanshi was first scheduled to launch in March 2020. However, owing to the pandemic, the movie was delayed by a 12 months and was slated to hit the theaters on April 30. However, as soon as once more theatres had been shut and the movie had to be delayed. As for Bell Bottom, the movie was shot after the lockdown final 12 months. The movie additionally stars Huma Qureshi, Vaani Kapoor, and Lara Dutta.
