New Delhi: In a bid to unfold consciousness on COVID-19 pointers, the Information and Broadcasting Ministry has requested the non-public tv news channels to disseminate messages on it.

The ministry on Tuesday (April 6) wrote to all non-public satellite tv for pc TV news channels to appropriately disseminate messages for COVID-19 applicable behaviour and vaccination.

In a letter, the ministry stated that personal TV channels have all the time been within the forefront of spreading necessary messages within the bigger public curiosity.

“It is, therefore, requested that the private channels may appropriately disseminate messages for COVID- appropriate behaviour and vaccination of the eligible age group persons so as to create greater awareness among the citizens of the country,” the ministry stated as per ANI.

The letter stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had convened a high-level assembly on April 4 to evaluate the rising scenario in view of COVID-19 circumstances seeing an “alarming upward trend” and famous that the federal government has determined to give attention to the five-fold technique to cope with the rising disaster – testing, tracing, remedy, COVID applicable behaviour and vaccination.
