Sunrisers Hyderabad suffered a loss in a low-scoring match towards Delhi Capitals on Monday.  SRH skipper Aiden Markram questioned their intent within the game that went down the wire on the Sunrisers dwelling floor, Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Delhi managed to defend the full of 144/9 as they restricted Hyderabad to 137/6 to win by seven runs. 

Washington Sundar’s all-round present (3/28 and 15-ball 24 not out) was not sufficient as SRH misplaced their third match on a trot. 

“We have been not good with the bat once more, not sufficient intent. We looked like a team that was not excited to win a game of cricket, sadly,” Markram stated on the presentation ceremony.

“We’ll have to return to look how we can chase higher, be freer as a team and as a unit and hopefully that may help us going ahead.

“It’s troublesome. You can say all the best issues however in the end guys want to purchase into it. We need to play a sure model of cricket and if we get it improper doing that then we’ll sleep loads higher at evening,” he stated.

“We’ve acquired actually good gamers and actually good batters and sadly I feel we’re simply letting ourselves down by way of lack of intent.

“Guys want to work out what brings out the perfect in them and makes them essentially the most free to play. Our bowlers did not deserve to be on the dropping aspect like this,” he stated.

SRH have their subsequent match on April 29, Saturday once more with DC. They will need to search redemption within the back-to-back game towards the identical opponent.

Delhi Capitals’ all-rounder Axar Patel, who was adjudged Player-of-the-Match for his 34 within the first innings adopted by two essential wickets within the second, stated he felt assured after the contribution within the first half.

“Two for 21 since I scored 34 in 34 so the two wickets were more important,” he stated.

Manish Pandey and I discussed we needed to take it as deep as possible. The surface was slow, the ball was coming off slowly. I felt that Kuldeep (Yadav) and I could tie up the batters on this surface, so it was enjoyable,” Patel stated.
