New Delhi: Lauding outgoing Chief Justice of India (CJI) Sharad Arvind Bobde’s “commitment” for mediation within the Ayodhya title dispute, senior advocate and Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) President Vikas Singh on Friday stated that he had requested him throughout the preliminary levels of the case to ask Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan if he would have an interest to take part in mediation within the matter.
Singh, who was talking on the outgoing Chief Justice’s farewell organised by the SCBA, stated Justice Bobde was of the agency view throughout the preliminary levels of the Ayodhya title dispute that this needs to be settled via mediation.
