State Assembly Election 2021: BJP holds meeting to discuss strategy, finalise candidates for upcoming polls

New Delhi: A meeting was held on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief JP Nadda’s residence in New Delhi to discuss the technique and finalise candidates for the upcoming meeting election for two states Kerala and Tamil Nadu, and Union Territory Puducherry.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah was additionally current on the meeting which continued until late 1:00 am on Saturday (March 13).

BJP National General Secretary BL Santhosh was additionally current within the meeting which began at 7:30 pm and the place the leaders mentioned the occasion’s technique for the polls.

Kerala BJP Co-Incharge, CN Ashwath Narayan mentioned it was a preliminary meeting to discuss the ultimate candidates for Assembly polls.

“The election committee will finalise the names tomorrow,” he added.

Tamil Nadu BJP president L Murugan mentioned “All names of the candidates will probably be introduced tomorrow by the parliamentary committee after the meeting”.

“Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry will probably be held in a single part on April 6. Counting of votes for all 4 states and one Union Territory will happen on May 2.
