Students hit streets as Maharashtra government postpones MPSC exams

New Delhi: After the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) examinations have been postponed, college students took to the streets in lots of cities within the state and created a ruckus. 
Numerous college students hit the streets in Pune, Nagpur, Kolhapur, Aurangabad and Jalgaon. Students demanded the exams not be cancelled.

The MPSC examination was scheduled to be held on Sunday (March 14).

The state government postponed the examination in view of the growing circumstances of coronavirus. Many college students raised slogans in opposition to the government.

The protests occurred in Navi Peth, Pune and at Sakkardara Chowk in Nagpur. In Kolhapur too, the scholars created a ruckus and demanded the government to rethink the choice to postpone the examination. 

Numerous college students crowded the Court Chowk in Jalgaon, disrupting the motion of automobiles. Protests have been additionally carried out at Jyotiba Phule Chowk in Aurangabad.

Earlier, on Tuesday Mumbai Guardian Minister Aslam Shaikh stated if coronavirus circumstances proceed to rise within the metropolis and the opportunity of an evening curfew or partial lockdown is excessive. Additionally, a 3 day ‘Janata curfew’ can be imposed in Maharashtra’s Jalgaon district.
