Students of the Osmania University, together with officers, volunteered to spruce up two stepwells on the college premises, the renovation of which was launched on Monday amid a lot fanfare.
The HMDA partnered with the Osmania University, and NGOs, to take up the 2 wells for renovation, following instructions issued by Minister Okay.T. Rama Rao. The constructions are near 200 years, an announcement from the HMDA knowledgeable.
The HMDA has been learning the wells for the previous few months, earlier than taking on renovation, it stated. Joint motion plan was proposed after a number of conferences involving Vice-Chancellor Ravinder, Rainwater Project founder Kalpana Ramesh, and HMDA increased officers.
