Supreme Court has requested Supertech to return cash to residence patrons or face jail in Twin Tower undertaking

Supreme Court on Wednesday directed actual property agency Supertech to return cash to homebuyers by January 17 for residences dealing with demolition in its Emerald Court twin tower undertaking or face jail.

The high court docket taking a important view of the matter, slammed Supertech administrators over non-payment to homebuyers for the flats that are being demolished beneath the dual tower undertaking.

“We will send your directors to jail now! They are playing truant with the Supreme Court,” Justice D Y Chandrachud stated whereas listening to the matter.

“Interest cannot be charged on Return of Investment! You are looking for all sorts of reasons to not comply with the order of the court,” he informed the builder’s legal professionals.

Justice Chandrachud directed Supertech to make sure that the funds are made by Monday (January 17) or else face penalties.
