Supreme Court pulls up Punjab govt over stubble burning, ‘don’t know how you do it, but must be stopped’

Delhi air air pollution: Amid ‘Severe’ air air pollution within the nationwide capital, the Supreme Court on Tuesday (November 7) requested the Aam Aadmi Party-led Punjab authorities to cease the stubble burning within the state, additional directing it to take steps “immediately”. The prime courtroom noticed that there can’t be a political preventing on a regular basis. “We want it (stubble burning) stopped. We don’t know how you do it, it’s your job. But it must be stopped. Something has to be done immediately,” Supreme Court instructed the Punjab authorities.

The remarks of the Supreme Court come after a number of incidents of stubble burning had been reported currently, which is one in all contributing components behind air air pollution within the nationwide capital.

Delhi has been choking because of huge air air pollution for practically every week with the air high quality hovering across the ‘Severe’ class. A thick layer of mist has surrounded the town, inflicting well being issues. The Delhi authorities introduced the reimplementation of the Odd Even car system for seven days beginning November 13.
