The Supreme Court is ready to hear two separate pleas of the Tamil Nadu and Kerala governments on Monday. The pleas are pertaining to an alleged delay by the respective state governors in giving assent to payments handed by the assemblies.

According to the data, a bench of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justices JB Pardiwala and Manoj Misra is scheduled to hear the pleas. As many as 10 payments had been re-adopted by the Tamil Nadu Assembly on November 18, says after these had been returned by Governor RN Ravi. After the governor returned these on November 13, the payments protecting a number of departments, equivalent to regulation, agriculture, and better training, had been handed. What does Karnataka govt’s plea say?

Similarly, the Kerala authorities has moved the highest court docket claiming that Governor Arif Mohammed Khan is delaying his assent to the payments handed by the Assembly, which is ”defeating the rights of the individuals”.
