58th Jnanpith Award: Renowned Urdu poet Gulzar and Sanskrit scholar Jagadguru Rambhadracharya have been named the recipients of the 58th Jnanpith Award, the Jnanpith choice committee introduced right this moment (February 17).

Gulzar is thought for his works in Hindi cinema and is taken into account one of many best Urdu poets of this period. He has earlier acquired Sahitya Akademi Award for Urdu in 2002, Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2013, Padma Bhushan in 2004, and a minimum of 5 National Film awards for his works.

Goan author Damodar Mauzo had acquired the distinguished award for 2022.
