Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has introduced a tie-up with meals supply platform Swiggy to provide pre-ordered meals by means of IRCTC’s e-catering portal. In the primary part, the ability will begin at 4 railway stations — Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam.
“IRCTC has tied up with Bundl Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (Swiggy Foods) for supply and delivery of pre-ordered meals through IRCTC e-catering portal as a PoC (Proof of Concept) in the first phase at four Railway stations i.e. Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Vijayawada & Visakhapatnam,” IRCTC mentioned in a BSE submitting on Thursday, February 22.
It mentioned the e-catering service by means of Bundl Technologies Pvt Ltd (Swiggy Foods) “may be available soon”.
