The Income Tax department conducted searches at over 30 locations in Pune and Mumbai, including the properties of filmmaker Anurag Kashyap and actress Taapsee Pannu on Wednesday (March 3). The Central Board of Direct Taxes issued a statement to reveal that the I-T team found ‘discrepancy and manipulation of income’ worth several crores in the transactions.
Taapsee Pannu’s rumoured boyfriend Mathias Boe shared a post on social media to request Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju to help the actress in the matter. He said that Taapsee’s parents are under stress after the Income Tax department conducted a raid at her premise in Mumbai.
Boe, a former badminton player, is currently stationed in Switzerland for the Swiss Open 2021. Indian shuttlers PV Sindhu and Kidambi Srikanth have advanced to the quarterfinals of Swiss Open 2021.
“Finding myself in a bit of turmoil. Representing India for the first time as a coach for some great athletes, meanwhile I-T department is raiding Taapsee’s houses back home, putting unnecessary stress on her family, especially her parents. Man shrugging. @KirenRijiju please do something,” Boe tweeted.
