Chennai: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Tamil Nadu president L Murugan on Sunday (March 14) lashed out at the DMK over its promise of abolishing the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) examination and they have a behavior to lie. 

When requested concerning the DMK`s manifesto, he mentioned that they themselves launched the NEET through the UPA authorities and now they are promising to withdraw it.”The DMK always lies. 

They have a behavior to lie. They themselves launched the NEET when the UPA authorities was in energy and now they are promising to withdraw it. They are simply making an attempt to affect individuals. But everybody is aware of who launched the NEET and persons are very clear that the DMK launched it,” Murugan mentioned. 

As half of its manifesto for the Tamil Nadu elections, the DMK has mentioned that it’ll convey a regulation to abolish the NEET whether it is voted to energy.

But in the BJP, only hard work and dedication is enough. But in DMK and Congress, only dynasty politics is enough. They must be the son of leader or son of an important leader that is the eligibility criteria there,” Murugan added. 

Earlier on Sunday (March 14), BJP has introduced the names of its 20 candidates for the upcoming meeting elections in Tamil Nadu.

The DMK will contest 173 seats out of the whole 234, whereas 187 will contest underneath the DMK image.DMK will contest 173 seats whereas apportioning a complete of 61 seats to its alliance companions. MK Stalin-led get together has allotted 25 seats to its Congress get together, and 6 every for CPI, CPI (M), Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) and Vaiko`s Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK).

Elections to the 234-member Tamil Nadu meeting might be held on April 6 and the counting of votes will happen on May 2.
