Tamil Nadu Assembly will pass resolution against 3 farm legal guidelines: Stalin
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Wednesday stated the federal government will deliver a resolution within the state Assembly asking the Union authorities to withdraw the three farm legal guidelines. The three farm legal guidelines introduced in by the federal government are — Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Act, 2020, Farmers’ (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Act, 2020, and Essential Commodities (Amendment) Act, 2020.
In an announcement issued, Stalin recalled his celebration DMK’s ballot promise of passing a resolution asking the Union authorities to withdraw the three farm legal guidelines and pass crucial legislation for that.
Stalin stated six months have handed for the reason that farmers are agitating against the three farm legal guidelines handed by the Union authorities.
The DMK President Stalin additionally stated it’s a worrying issue that the Union authorities has not tried to have a constructive dialogue with the farmers to resolve the difficulty nor it has taken steps to revoke the three farm legal guidelines.
