Khaja Moideen, hailing from Pookkara avenue in Thanjavur, has been operating a fruit retailer simply in entrance of his dwelling for a number of years. It is claimed that locals refer to him as ‘Comrade’ since he was impressed by Communist ideologies, and ‘Thozhar Pazhakadai’ (translating to ‘Comrade Fruit Shop’ in English) is the identify of his retailer.

He added, “I inspired my spouse to do properly in her research after we received married. After experiencing quite a few difficulties, my spouse was appointed headmistress of a authorities college. My son is an advocate as properly. I helped my spouse and son do properly at their research. Thus, I’ve been offering books, and water bottles to clients for the previous 11 years out of a want to make them really feel like household and inculcate the behavior of studying in them,” he said.
“Customers do not perceive me as a fruit vendor but as a parent, friend, companion, and grandfather. I have donated my entire body to Thanjavur Medical College after my death as I believe that people are vital and money is ephemeral,” Moideen added with pleasure.
