Speaking about the issue, Raja Shanmugam, who is the former Garment Exporters Association said “Tiruppur treats everyone equally and there is no disparity shown to anyone in the district”.

He also assured “that all the migrant workers will be safe in the city and the it is the edited videos being spread by the miscreants and importance should not be given to them. District administration taking all efforts to ensure the safety of the workers in the district.”
