Tata Motors Sales April 2021: A 41 per cent drop was recorded in home gross sales month-on-month

Tata Motors reported its month-to-month auto gross sales on Saturday, May 1, reporting 39,530 models offered in April 2021, marking a 41 per cent month-on-month drop in complete home gross sales, in comparison with the earlier month of March. Tata Motors home gross sales in March 2021 stood at 66,609 models. According to a regulatory submitting by the corporate to the BSE on Saturday, Tata Motors gross sales within the home and worldwide marketplace for April 2021 stood at 41,858 automobiles. According to the assertion, Tata Motors gross sales of home industrial automobiles (CV) in April 2021 stood at 16,644 models, registering a 59 per cent drop month-month, in comparison with 40,609 models offered in March 2021. The industrial automobiles sale included passenger carriers, SCV cargo pickup, exports. The exports of economic automobiles stood at 2209 models in April 2021, marking a 40 per cent drop month-on-month, in comparison with 3654 models in March 2021. 

Meanwhile, when it comes to home passenger automobiles (PV), Tata Motors registered 25,095 models offered in April 2021, marking a 15 per cent drop month-on-month, in comparison with 29,654 models offered in March 2021.

Tata Motors is a listed firm on inventory exchanges BSE and NSE. On Friday, April 30, shares of Tata Motors settled 2.62 per cent decrease at Rs 293.95 per cent apiece on the BSE. On the NSE, its shares settled 2.91 per cent decrease at Rs 293.10 apiece on Friday.
