Tata Power Arm to Build 43.75 MW Solar Project for Mukand Ltd – News18


Tata Power Renewable Energy Ltd (TPREL) has inked a pact for constructing a 43.75 MW captive photo voltaic undertaking for Mukand Ltd, a Bajaj Group agency. Located at Jamkhed in Maharashtra, the set up will generate 99.82 MUs (million items) yearly and is anticipated to offset 54,687 tonne CO2 emissions per yr.

As per the Power Delivery Agreement (PDA), TPREL will undertake the development, operation, and upkeep of the captive solar energy plant, Tata Power stated in a BSE submitting on Friday.

The undertaking is scheduled for commissioning by March 2024.

The plant’s main goal is to fulfil Mukand’s power wants whereas selling atmosphere-pleasant practices inside their chrome steel manufacturing operations.

TPREL is a subsidiary of Tata Power Ltd.
