BBC Income Tax survey: Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav on Friday (February 17) took a swipe on the Centre over the survey on the BBC places of work and alleged that the BJP is misusing the Central businesses and likewise making an attempt to make India a country of Nathuram Godse. The RJD chief alleged that the Centre wants to ship a message that anyone who speaks towards the federal government can be handled.
“They (BJP) are misusing the Central agencies. They want to give a message that those who speak against them or speak the truth will be dealt with. You all know what happened with BBC. Everyone knows what happened in Gujarat. They want to make the country of Mahatma Gandhi a country of Nathuram Godse. They talk about Hindu Rashtra. But our diversity is our beauty,” Tejashwi mentioned addressing an occasion.
The I-T officers surveyed the UK-based broadcaster’s places of work over a cost of deliberate non-compliance with Indian legal guidelines, together with switch pricing guidelines and the diversion of income illegally.
