Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) performed a gathering for dialogue concerning Pakistan Super League matches after a terrorist attack in Karachi on Friday. The PCB chief Najam Sethi stated that the schedule of the remaining matches of PSL won’t be impacted by the attack.
On Friday night, terrorists attacked the workplace of the Karachi police chief. The PSL began on February 13 with Lahore Qalandars and Multan Sultans taking part in the opening match. In the league, six groups are contending to win the title. While playoffs will start on the fifteenth of February, the ultimate is scheduled for March 19. Sethi stated the matches would proceed as presidential safety has been in place for the gamers and officers because the begin of the league.
“The PSL matches will continue as per schedule. All the players are being well looked after,” he stated.
Another board official stated the safety companies and authorities had additionally given clearance for the PSL matches to proceed in Karachi.
“The incident which happened yesterday is unrelated to the PSL,” he stated.
Two matches of the PSL are scheduled on the National Stadium on Saturday and Sunday and safety has been beefed up on the group lodge and match venue.
