The Second Season of Ultimate Kho Kho League held today in Bhubaneswar



The participant public sale for second season of Ultimate Kho Kho (UKK) was efficiently held in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday, November 21. 


 


Six franchises drafted from gamers. 30 are chosen in A class Rs 6 lakh every, B class 36 gamers at Rs. 5 lakh every, in class C 55 gamers in Rs 3 lakh every,in class D 24 in Rs 1.5 lakh.

Odisha Juggernauts, Chennai Quick Guns, Gujarat Giants, Mumbai Khiladis, Rajasthan Warriors, and Telugu Yoddhas had been the six groups that shall be taking part in the event. With a complete allotted purse of INR 3.90 crore, combos with a minimal of 20 and a most of 35 gamers. 18 gamers had been retained by the 6 groups.


 


Franchisees got the choice to decide on gamers primarily based on their respective draft sequence and purse capability. 


 


In all, 245 gamers had been in the pool and so they had been divided into three segments. The 18 gamers retained by the franchisees had been known as the Power Players class.

The different two groups, the Rajasthan Warriors and Telugu Yoddhas, retained three gamers every.


 


Kho-kho Federation of India President Sudhanshu Mittal stated, “Ultimate Kho Kho has offered worldwide recognition to the game which earlier belonged to rural areas or communities. 


 


Today it has gained reputation and since of this sport gamers are getting jobs, awards and admission in faculties. This sport will quickly be getting worldwide recognition.


 


He added, “Today at the draft event, I felt like dream for Kho Kho coming true. This year we didn’t increase the money in the draft but from the third season we will be doing the auctioning. This will add value to the game.” 


 


He stated season two of Ultimate Kho Kho goals to infuse new life into the traditional Indian sport. 


 


After a grand success of season one, league is all set to return with its second version (Season-2) scheduled between twenty fourth December 2023 and 14th January 2024 in Cuttack,
