New Delhi, Aug 5: Jewellery and watches maker Titan Ltd on Friday reported a multi-fold improve in consolidated internet revenue at Rs 790 crore within the first quarter ended June on the again of robust festive demand. The firm had posted a consolidated internet revenue of Rs 18 crore within the year-ago interval, Titan Ltd mentioned in a regulatory submitting.
Consolidated complete revenue in the course of the quarter beneath evaluation stood at Rs 9,487 crore as in opposition to Rs 3,519 crore in the identical interval final fiscal, it added. Jewellery section clocked income of Rs 8,351 crore as in contrast to Rs 3,050 crore in the identical interval final fiscal, whereas watches and wearables class clocked Rs 786 crore income, up from Rs 293 crore final yr.
Eyecare section reported had a income of Rs 183 crore from Rs 67 crore in the identical quarter of earlier fiscal, it added. Total bills have been greater at Rs 8,415 crore. The identical stood at Rs 3,480 crore within the corresponding quarter final yr.
Titan mentioned its income within the first quarter this fiscal was buoyed by a powerful festive demand in a close to regular interval that got here after a spot of two Covid-disrupted durations of the primary quarters of FY21 and FY22. “The financial year has begun well for us and we delivered a strong performance in Q1 across our business segments. Despite the challenging macro environment, the outlook for the remaining quarters looks positive and we continue to execute our investment plans in India as well as chosen international geographies,” Titan Ltd Managing Director CK Venkataraman mentioned.
