Chennai: Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) supremo M.Ok. Stalin might be sworn-in because the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister on Friday. A complete of 34 minister-designates will take oath together with him
“M.K. Stalin, the Chief Minister-designate has sent a list of persons to be appointed as Ministers of the State of Tamil Nadu along with their Portfolios on 6.5. 2021 (Thursday),” an official launch mentioned.
“The Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu has approved the recommendations made by the Chief Minister-designate regarding persons to be appointed as Ministers,” the discharge added.
While CM-elect Stalin saved he Home Ministry portfolio to himself, the listing revealed that Duraimurugan could be appointed as Minister for Water Resources, KN Nehru as Minister for Municipal Administration, Ok Ponmudi as Minister for Higher Education, M.R.Ok. Panneerselvam as Minister for Agriculture amongst different ministers who would take oath on May 7.
Madurai Central MLA Palanivel Thiagarajan will maintain the finance portfolio. Tamil Nadu Governor Banwari Lal Purohit has given approval to the listing.
