The Japanese girl, who was publically harassed on Holi Day in Delhi’s Paharganj space, has reacted to the incident in a collection of Tweets. Earlier, she had deleted her Tweet together with which she had posted the video. Netizens, together with high celebrities and politicians, have been left outraged after the video exhibiting the bodily abuse of the ladies went viral on social media. The web demanded strict motion towards the molesters, who in line with them “brought shame to the nation”. However, in a shock to many, the Japanese girl deleted the tweet hours after it was posted on-line.

She at this time described that she was terrified by the excessive variety of reactions and re-tweets acquired on the video. The girl stated that she was “aware of the danger involved for women on Holi,” and that she participated within the celebrations with 35 of her associates.  “I had heard that it was very dangerous for a woman to go out alone during the daytime at the Holi festival, an Indian festival that I participated in, so I participated in the event with a total of 35 other friends,” she stated.

In a collection of Tweets, the lady despatched the message that regardless of the horrendous expertise, she loves India for the sweetness it gives. Expressing her love for India, she stated, “I love everything about India, I have been there many times and it is a fascinating country. India and Japan will forever be ‘Tomodachi’ (friends).”

“The police have promised to strengthen their crackdown, and we hope harassment against women will decrease significantly,” the lady stated. The girl was staying at a lodge in Paharganj, nevertheless, she left for Bangladesh on Friday.
