Tripura: CM Bipal Deb Says Amit Shah Shared Plans For BJP’s Expansion To Nepal, Sri Lanka

New Delhi: Tripura CM Biplab Kumar Deb has sparked yet another controversy, this time he said that Amit Shah had plans to expand the BJP party to Nepal and Sri Lanka. During a BJP party event at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan on Saturday, Kumar revealed that after winning all states in India, BJP plans to expand to its neighbouring countries.

According to a East Mojo report, Deb said “we were talking in the state guest house when Ajay Jamwal (North-East Zonal Secretary of BJP) said that BJP has formed its government in several states of India, in reply Shah said, Now Sri Lanka and Nepal is left. We have to expand the party in Sri Lanka, Nepal and win there to form a government.”

Deb said that under the leadership of Amit Shah, the party has become the world’s largest party. He then added, “The communist had claimed that their party was the largest in the world, which Amit Shah broke by making BJP the largest party in the world. Deendayal Upadhyaya’s party, Shyama Prasad’s party, Prishtha Pramukh’s party”.

He opined that in the states with upcoming elections West Bengal, Kerala and Tamil Nadu will soon see BJP government. He was quoted in the East Mojo report as saying, “The communist had claimed that their party was the largest in the world, which Amit Shah broke by making BJP the largest party in the world. Deendayal Upadhyaya’s party, Shyama Prasad’s party, Prishtha Pramukh’s party.”

“The people of Bengal will soon say goodbye to Mamata didi, as both Modi and Amit Shah have reached the state. This time the government in Tamil Nadu will be formed by the BJP only, Lotus will bloom across the country,” the report quoted him as saying.

Over the years, Kumar has sparked controversies with his statements. In 2018, he sparked a huge controversy when he claimed that internet and satellites came from Mahabharata era.
