TweetDeck Rebrands To ‘XPro’

San Francisco: X, formally often called Twitter, has rebranded the social media dashboard utility for administration, TweetDeck, with the brand new title ‘XPro.’

Now, if customers go to the TweetDeck web site whereas logging out, they may see ‘XPro’ written on the high of the web page.

However, the URL remains to be “https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/”

“XPro is a convenient way to view multiple timeline columns in one easy interface,” the corporate talked about on the web page.

X-owner Elon Musk had introduced this rebranding final week. In response to a put up about TweetDeck, Musk replied, “Name is changing to XPro. Will come with a wide range of psy op plugins.”

Last month, the platform launched an improved model of TweetDeck and stated, “In 30 days, users must be Verified to access TweetDeck.”

Musk had began hinting on the rebranding of Twitter as X on July 23 with a sequence of tweets, beginning with one which stated, “soon we shall bid adieu to the Twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds.”

Since then, he has been altering the Twitter title and blue fowl emblem throughout all platforms.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, the corporate launched a brand new set of scoring fashions known as ‘Group models’ for Community Notes, which identifies useful notes, notably in languages and areas of the world the place there are new, smaller and rising teams of contributors.

On the opposite hand, it appears like the corporate remains to be engaged on ID-based verification.

App researcher Nima Owji shared a screenshot on Tuesday which confirmed that when somebody clicks on a consumer’s blue checkmark, a brand new label that reads “This account is ID verified” will show.

“Twitter (X) was working on it months ago but it seems they have resumed working on it again!,” Owji stated.
